Band 2020

I actually took some pictures this week! I headed to the high school to see how the band was handling rehearsals in these virus-damaged times and found a lot of PPE including bell covers on all instruments (even the flutes have them on the far end of the body!) and face masks (with cutouts for mouthpieces) on all players.

I don’t know what kind of show the band is working on this year because they’ve only just started practice but I’m willing to bet that the marching patterns will be a lot less tight than they usually are.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 6400
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
