Colours of Salt

About two thirds of the way through our 7 hour 4×4 trek through Canyonlands National Park and its environs back in November, we came across a fascinating potash mine in the middle of nowhere. Its collection of coloured evaporation ponds were rather striking and made for some nice aerial abstracts.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: FC3411
  • Focal length: 8.38mm
  • ISO: 300
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
