Julius Taiber, Ballet Austin

Continuing the theme of giant leaps, Julius Taiber, a dancer with Ballet Austin, performs a “Spiderman pose” in this image from Joe McNally’s dance photography workshop at Art Beat Dance Center, Cedar Park on May 22nd, 2022. As before, Joe gets all credit for the photo idea and lighting and I merely lay on the floor, talked to Julius, and pressed the button.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/6.7
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 12mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/1000s
