Cap Fed

During yesterday morning’s walk around the University of Kansas campus, I was struck by this dramatic building on Naismith Drive directly opposite Allen Fieldhouse. It’s Capitol Federal Hall or “Cap Fed” as the students refer to it. The building, designed by Gensler architects (who are, incidentally, based in Austin), is part of the KU School of Business and opened its doors to students in April 2016.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 23mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
