Martian Landscape

I’m staying with aerial abstracts today. This image was taken, again from a drone, over the wonderful, stratified landscape by the Mars Society Research Center near Hanksville, Utah last October. This area is spectacular when viewed from the ground but the real patterns only show themselves when you look down on it from above.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: FC3411
  • Exposure bias: -1.3EV
  • Focal length: 8.38mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/50s
