The result wasn’t what we had hoped for, the University of Washington Huskies having beaten the Texas Longhorns by 37 points to 31, but the whole weekend in New Orleans at the college football semi-final Sugar Bowl was a fantastic experience! I’m just going through my images from the game itself and here’s one of my favourites so far. This image of the front line trumpeters was taken on the 50 yard line right in front of the drum major’s ladder during the half time show. The circular stadium just cried out for an ultrawide lens and my new Olympus fisheye did the job nicely with some great starbursts too.
