Sunset at Factory Butte

It’s time for another foray into the archives after I found and edited several pictures that I had somehow missed when initially processing their shoots. Today’s shot is an aerial view of Factory Butte near Hanksville, Utah, that I took during our 2022 NxNW expedition. I think it’s pretty fair to say that the 10 square miles centred on this outcrop contain some of the most spectacular landscape photography opportunities on the planet!

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: FC3411
  • Focal length: 8.38mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/200s
