During Friday’s rodeo at Dripping Springs Ranch Park, it was good to see several women competing in the saddle bronc competition. Dylan Brown from Las Vegas, Nevada (left), and Ally Bradley (center) and Nicole Weaver (right) from Dripping Springs, Texas all competed in the ranch bronc event which, I learned, is a variant of the competition using a standard western saddle and in which the rider is allowed to hold on with both hands.
