Flatiron Revisited

I’m sure there will be an onslaught of robotics competition pictures over the next week so, just to break things up a bit, I’m revisting a trip I made to New York back in 2009 today with this newly-reprocessed image of the Flatiron Building. This famous landmark sits in the triangular plot formed by the junctions of 5th Avenue and Broadway just north of 22nd Street. It opened in 1902 at which time it was one of the tallest structures in the city.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5
  • Camera: NIKON D90
  • Focal length: 92mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/640s
