Stormy Sunset, Canyonlands

NxNW 2022 is on and this year we’re reprising our 2021 visit to Utah. This image was taken during our sunset shoot last night. In it, a storm rumbles through the valley below Green River Overlook in Canyonlands National Park. The light wasn’t great but the rain (and wind, and lightning) did make for some dramatic scenes.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/13
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Exposure bias: -1EV
  • Focal length: 38mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 3s
